Texile Exhibition

1st to 28th October 2011

A textile exhibition featuring the patchwork, machine embroidery, pictures and wearable art of artist Jean Golby.

Featuring the techniques and methods involved in many aspects of textile work which will range from quilts to dresswear.

On display will be sketch books and test pieces showing the initial ideas and concepts involved from inception to the finished piece, some of which will be work from her students.

Jean will be available during the term of the exhibition to speak about textile art and can be contacted on jeanolby@btinternet.com 07858 728721 for group visits.

There will be a preview evening on Friday 30th September between 6pm-8pm where everyone is welcome to attend

The Gallery is open to the public Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, with free entry and parking, disabled access, craft shop, cafe, Westwood Country Park, children's indoor play centre.
