DIVERSITY

Diversity is the title of the current art exhibition at the Coterie Gallery and as the title aptly states it is an exhibition not only exemplifying diversity of mediums, styles and genres, but also in size.

The rules of regularity and conformity have been laid in abeyance for this exhibition to assemble artwork ranging from 4’ contemporary and traditional abstracts from nature rendered in acrylic and oils , to 2 “ miniature landscapes painted in oil on canvas,

Featuring the skill of needlework within textile art is a display of floating drapes, together with figurative textiles mounted on canvas box frames, and banners, following on from a recent workshop making decorative gift bags held in the gallery studio.

The gallery is still promoting local artists whose unique individual hand made jewellery are on display, both in the gallery and craft shop.
