"Crisis what Crisis" is a new contemporary sequential exhibition at the Coterie Gallery Pack Horse Lane, High Green, Sheffield to be held throughout April in which it deals with the current economic situation through a series of sequential paintings parodying the various elements and persons or organisations which may be perceived to be responsible,
Almost 'Hogerthian' in structure, content and meaning, its focus is on viewer participation in which to interpret and place the onus upon whom they feel is responsible within each aspect of the works and in that respect whilst each work is composed of interconnected symbolism, a title, and suggests questions, it is for the viewer to come to their own personal point of view and conclusion in which their views will form input to become part of the exhibition through a book where opinions and comments can be left.
In keeping with the fluctuating economic situation new works have been added for this exhibition.
