CONUCOPIA

The new exhibition at the Coterie is an abundence of art covering many styles and techniques in all mediums showcasing the versitility and repertoire of the artists.Full portraits in negative black and white or in a full colour atmospheric mood  sit alongside traditional colourful garden scapes in which the viewer is invited to delve deeper into individual parts to compare further adjacent work of an abstracted nature.

Continuing a specific medium method which seems to have been prevalent throughout the year in previous exhibitions at the gallery has been the use of textiles, embriodery and stitching in artistic form which causes us to ask if these skills of yesteryear are in for a resurgence.
