"Odyssey is a deep and dark journey drawing on ancient Greek Myth and mythology loosely based on the
the writings of Homers hero Odysseus chronicling and his trials and tribulations in returning to his family and home of Ithaca from the Trojan wars.
Part of his journey was to seek directions from an oracle to which he had to enter the underworld realm of Hades, however the real story is that of Orpheus in his quest for his Euyedice in which he went to hell itself to face Hades himself for the return of his wife.
That journey and it's result are as they say, mythological history and the stuff of legends.
Each painting is a part of that journey but leads into the next stage, it is not an exhibition to be passed over lightly, the true extent of the buried symbolism can only be revealed through taking time to read the painting.
