Approximately 100 puppets will be on display courtesy of 'Dragonfly Puppets' and 'Professor PoP-Up's Puppet Theatre' all of which are working models, indeed some have been worked so hard they are showing their age having entertained countless children and adults alike.
The 'Coterie' are pleased to present "Puppet Parade's" debut exhibition here in Sheffield from Friday 19th February to Thursday 11th March as part of it's 2010 programme of exhibitions.
Mal Trott from Dragonfly puppets will be at the gallery on the opening day of Friday 19th, at 11am he will give a demonstration on how to work a puppet, and if you think it's easy, Have a go!
Entry to all exhibitions in both galleries are free throughout the year.
17th February 2010 NEWS FLASH
Excitement is building at the gallery and studio. "THE PUPPETS ARE ON THEIR WAY!"
With 2 days to go we have had notification that they coming, and will be here ready for Friday.
WE hope the weather will not prevent our friends from the Orient arriving on time.
Don't forget that Kim will be in Gallery 'B' showing how to make finger puppets.
