My present work deals with the subjectivity of the individual in conjunction with the objectivity of authority.

I have to ask whether authorities objectivity can justify any breach on the individuals subjectivity, given that individuals as a collective whole, voluntarily gives authority the right to govern.

Mood, atmosphere, symbolism and narrative play an important part in which I explore any breach of this framework by authority or individuals that create an afront to 'I' as the individual and thus a breach of that bond to society as a whole.

Whether you are a beginner or an improver, you will find patient and expert teachers at the Coterie Art Studio. It’s a great way to meet new people and learn new skills that will bring out the inner artist in you.

For beginners, we provide all the pencils, brushes, paint, etc that you’ll need to learn the key skills to start on a lifelong love of creating your own art.

Our tutorials cater for the individual. We will discuss your requirements and whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, we’ll help you to get more out of your art through a specific subject or medium.

Classes are small to ensure maximum one to one tuition time but your tutorial does not end when the class ends. We encourage students to visit galleries and help you to enter exhibitions and competitions.

Additional classes and specific workshops for all abilities can be set up to suit demand either at your place or in the studio.
